Forestry mulching offers a cost effective and environmentally friendly organic form of clearing land of unwanted vegetation including herbage layer, shrub, scrub, hedges and trees without the need for burning. With the forestry mulching machine we can do in hours what would have taken days and at a fraction of the cost. Forestry mulching machines eliminate many operations and only leave mulch behind.

 

Mulching the vegetation or debris reintroduces the biomass back into the soil as opposed to burning or removing the debris completely. Minimal soil disturbance and erosion is caused and only organic matter is left to enhance the fertility of the soil. No damage to retained trees and desired features is caused by our operations.

 

Using a 300 horsepower reverse drive Fendt with an Ahwi FM700 Fixed tooth mulcher, some of the operations that can be undertaken are:
